They say that more people kill themselves this time of year than any other. It's a myth, of course, not a shred of evidence to support it. But if it were true, I could certainly see why. All the decorations, all the banners, all the forcing cheer upon the populace no matter what...it's nearly more than even the sanest person can take.
And I, being far from sane, should know.
It's strange, I should be happy. The plan I've worked so hard on for the past three and a half years is finally ready to put into play. And this day itself, a rest before we begin, Final Gift Digimon 02

A Moment's Pause Digimon"Sir," she cooed, sliding next to me, "I really think you should reconsider my...proposal..." Her arm snaked around my shoulders as she drew herself closer, closer...
I tried to ignore her, and continued to read the paper. After a minute or so like that, she withdrew.
"You know, you really know how to give a girl the cold shoulder." She paused, shaking out her arm. "/SIR/" she added, drawing it out.
I turned the page. She could make even something like a new stoplight seem fascinating by comparasion.
"Sir, talk to me."
